Citologías
Es el laboratorio especializado donde se lleva a cabo el análisis de muestras celulares obtenidas mediante técnicas de citología con el fin de diagnosticar enfermedades, identificar células anormales y orientar el tratamiento medico. Las citologías se centran en el estudio de células individuales o pequeños grupos de células obtenidas de diversos tejidos y líquidos corporales como el cérvix uterino, la cavidad oral, los pulmones, entre otros. Estas muestras se obtienen mediante técnicas no invasivas y se procesan en el laboratorio para su posterior interpretación y análisis microscópico.
